BEFORE YOUR RF MICRONEEDLING APPOINTMENT

Be sure to:

Avoid use of NSAIDs like Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen to minimize chance of bruising
Hydrate your skin & drink water
If you have a history of fever blisters let your practitioner know as antivirals may be recommended
Stop all active topical acids such as glycolic, alpha, beta hydroxyl acids, retinols, tretinoin and other products a few days prior
Avoid prolonged sun exposure prior to treatment
Come prepared with a clean face removing all make-up and products

Procedure Time:

Depending on your specific needs, RF Microneedling typically takes 60 minutes with numbing

Side Effects:

May experience mild tenderness, redness and swelling in treatment areas (similar to mild sunburn). Side effects

usually resolve in a few hours to days.

Post Treatment:

Avoid excessive sun exposure for a minimum of 2 weeks post treatment. Wear SPF daily.
Wash treated area with mild cleanser. Avoid any additional products other than those recommended by practitioner for the first 24 hours.
Limit activity to reduce perspiration. Avoid hot tubs, saunas, hot shower, steam for 24-48hrs.
DO NOT use any exfoliant products for 7-14 days such as AHA, BHA, Retinol, Tretinoin etc.
